Hi, my name is David J Rixon (right of picture). I am a Multi Award Winning Entrepreneur and the Owner and Founder of DJR Journey To Success LTD & DJR Success Entertainment CIC. My Story
David Rixon's journey in Plymouth is one of hard work and dedication. From humble beginnings to crushing down in despair, he has worked tirelessly to achieve his goals and make a name of himself in the community. His story is one of perseverance and determination, and serves as an inspiration to all those who know him. ​​

"Hey again, so you may already know me and my story but if you don't or have forgotten here it is again. I had a normal, humble childhood. Yes I got bullied but all schools had bullies and I have gotten over that throughout my life. I had a good education with doing 28 exams yet only passed 4 (maths,spanish,health and social care,science). It took me 6 years to pass english but finally I passed it. But let's fast forward to somewhere more recent......
Back in September of 2021, I had gotten jumped in the middle of Plymouth City Centre. I received multiple injuries, from a fractured jaw to grazes and bruises around different parts of my body. I became anxious and worried that it might happen again while also going through the Restorative Justice System to which it led to things being dealt with and plans for recovery were coming into play.

It is now November of 2021 and I ended up involving myself in a small but terrifying motorbike accident. No other person was involved except me and my bike landed straight onto my leg causing it to twist around. The aftermath resulted me in a cast for 5 ish months as I had fractured, broke bones and torn 2 ligaments in my foot.

But it did not stop there, I had used my statutory sick pay money while being off from work to fund my gambling addiction. The odds were on my side due to learning the algorithms and programming of the online slots and I cashed out just over £17,500 in around 4 months. I also opened up 8 credit cards, which I maxed out entirely on alcohol and weed in around 2.5 weeks. Oh and also I spent the £17,000 on alcohol in the same 2.5 weeks. That is around £25,000 in 2.5 weeks on alcohol and weed. ​

I decided to become sober and become a better version of myself, quitting alcohol,weed,smoking,vaping,energy drinks,fizzy drinks and coffee. The complete shabang, I then decided to start tracking and sharing my sobriety journey on Facebook as a blog. It gained attraction very quickly, I started to get my confidence back and went to multiple courses, multiple networking events and met amazing people (recently being Samuel Leeds & Jordan Belfort in October 2024).

Fast forward to now and I am a Multi Award Winning Entrepreneur that runs multiple ventures for multiple people in multiple places. I have an easier approach to business and life than what you see online and in others. I make sure that my clients, business friendships and the community have their needs met in any specific scenario.
